When you learn how to line up your words in a life-giving way, it activates your faith. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. That’s a pretty strong statement with essential implications for our lives. It means that…The words we speak can bring hope, or they can cause despair. The declarations we make can build faith or invite fear. What we say to others can tear them down or build them up.
Our conversations can point us to our promises or reinforce our problems. Our well-being is impacted daily by the words we choose to speak. As I’ve studied this topic, I’ve been shown much about the power of faith-filled words and what a game changer this can be for our lives. One thing that made a difference for me is that it wasn’t enough to stop saying negative things – the real power came when I started speaking positive words and believing by faith that it would work in my life.
The key to winning any battle you’re facing is learning to speak life-giving words over your life – and the lives of those around you. It’s vital to convey the right words in situations and believe the truth in what you are saying.
